Had a fantastic weekend at Dalmore. Accomodation is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious. Very peaceful loacation with wonderful hosts Andrew & Pippa. Kids loved the space and all the farm animals close by. Will return without a doubt.

Great place and we have been very personal being taking care of! Happy dogs and a lot of space. We specially enjoyed the different bathroom setups (we - a young couple - went with one set of parents and sister). We asked to do a bbq and got a lot of help! Having a drink in the self-made bar (for really only cost covering prices) gave a great evening experience and a good possebility to get to know the hosts better (young family with kids).
Great people and place, specially for families!

We stayed over for just a couple of nights but i have found myself looking for reasons to return. The rooms were clean, airy and very comfortable - i slept like a baby! The location is beautiful but above all, the host were extremely accomodating and frioendly. Would highly recommend staying over!

When my brothers and I wanted to arrange a Drakensberg weekend away for ourselves and our father who was visiting from Australia – Dalmore was recommended. What a wonderful weekend it turned out to be! Each of the rooms are beautifully decorated and very unique. My husband and I stayed in the cottage which was perfect for us and 2 kids. On our first afternoon there, we were taken on a game drive around Spionkop Dam within the nature reserve. We must have seen every type of wildlife worth seeing up close and personal. The farm animals, trampoline and extensive manicured gardens ensured that the children had a care-free time and the cosy pub, scrumptious food and the terrific company ensured that we adults went back to Durban feeling relaxed and de-stressed. Thank you Pippa and Andrew (not forgetting your gorgeous children and friendly dogs and cat!) for a stunning weekend. We will definitely be back.

We found Dalmore Farm a perfect get away with our two young kids. Lots of farm fun to be had. The accommodation is cleverly done creating a relaxed, rustic, artistic, stylish yet humble down to earth feel. Pippa and Andrew are engaged and friendly hosts. The farm is beautiful and has much interest for kids who like to get dirty! And there is quite a bit to do in the area.

We gor married in the Drackensberg Mountains in March and stayed here on the way. We traveled from Ireland to get married in South Africa. This place is run by a young couple who used to live in London and it shows with their attention to detail and comfort as well as design, without removing you from what is a beautiful spot in nature. For a start they took the booking by phone as for some reason most places in South Africa will only take a booking with a deposit, regardless of the fact alot dont have an online booking system to facilitate customers. The rooms are stunning with something of this standard costing a fortune in Europe. The main house is absolutely beautiful with a huge dining table as a centre piece, a couched terrace and bar. Dalmore is on the edge of a working farm and has to one of the most peacful places I have been. It is a close drive to the Mountains and is a perfect getaway. It would be amazing for a small wedding with a central lawn area and timber frame gazebo.
