They do not provide free breakfasts anymore, we paid $5 each for eggs, pancakes or omlettes, excellent OJ. Hotel halls are very dark and dingy as expressed before. Our room was on first floor and was very damp. Asked for a dehumidifier and they brought one, we had to leave it on non-stop. Location makes up for old hotel. Free wifi, also computer in business room. Outdoor pool well used but not by us. San Fransico soaps used in rooms. Room was clean and linens spotless. Noisy fan/AC. Hotel could use a makeover, but good value.

Room Tip: get a high floor room

Great location for shopping, The hotel is directly across from the Salmon Run Mall with a JCPenney, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, and there is a Kmart, Walmart, Target and Kohls just down the street. There is a Bob Evan restaurant on the same lot as the hotel and a number of other restaurants (Applebees, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Ponderosa and Cracker Barrel nearby).. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful, the rooms were large, well kept and clean. Our room had wireless internet a fridge and microwave. The two Beds in the room were queensize and comfortable, the pillows were small and typical hotel type so we brought our own.. The bathroom was clean with plenty of clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. It had a full bathtub and shower. Although the shower head was too low for anyone taller than medium height and the drain in the bathtub was very slow to empty. We had stayed at this hotel in May and June 2011 and at that time they included a pretty good free hot breakfast which made the hotel a very good value. When we stayed there in August 2011 they had discontinued the free breakfast which was disappointing since other hotels in the area still offer some type of free breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will be back again, hoping they re-instate the free breakfast..

For some reason all the other hotels in Watertown are either ridiculously expensive or nasty, so we chose to stay at the reasonably priced Ramada. The hotel is good, not great, but good. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfy. On the other hand, the hallways of the hotel are very dark and dingy and had a bad smokey/musty stench. Another con is the hotel doesn't included a complimentary breakfast. The location of the hotel was perfect and was close to tons of restaurants and stores.

Overall a decent older hotel for a good price.
