My wife and I spent 4 nights in this fabulous hotel, we had a front see room, it was really great.
The bedroom is huge, wooden made, the bathroom even more, with a rain shower and a Jacuzzi. The big veranda offers you all the intimacy you require for such a stay...and the waves crush just below, it is terrific.
The hotel spa is very nice, including a double cabin for couples with an extraordinary view. The private beach is relatively small but you really feel like in a cocoon, you can snorkel easily right in front (it is not the Maldives aquarium but still very pleasant). There is also a charming overflow swimming pool where you can relax while looking at the bay of Beau Vallon.
The staff is fantastic, very accommodating (early check-in without any problem). The bar cocktails are upscale (try the frangipani).
The only improvement to be made is the food quality, which is good but not at the level of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is fine, French pastries are excellent, but fruits were so-so. Also we had one dinner at the hilltop and it was not worth the price at all. Better take a ride to Beau Vallon where you find many good restaurants (5 min by car). Anyway, love and water...
