“For the first time EVER.... "I'd happily return"”
Now i'm not one to write reviews, but I've gone through the bother of signing up to TA, to write you guys a review on this Hotel, because it deserves one!
Now I'm known for being a fussy eater amongst my family & friends, high maintenance some might say, not liking pretty much anything other than really nice food.
Having done the usual Egypt rubbish I paid not much more to come to this resort, and boy was it worth it. No drunk russians, no dodgy tummy and no dodgy food!
The food here was AMAZING, 4-5 different styles of food every night, all freshly cooked in front of you by the friendly cooks. If you normally struggle to find something nice to eat....fear not because the Casurina has it all covered, including gorgeous steaks and almost home made curries. I don't like fish.... But I could have eaten Marlin every night it was that nice. They also did curries which were really nice with a cook making fresh bread almost constantly. My god I ate fish!!!!!
The hotel itself was extremley nice, friendly staff and always willing to help. The hotel itself probably had no more than 75 guests during our stay (May13) which was excellent because we could get prime sun beds pretty much anytime during the day around both pools and the beach.
The beach had beautiful white sands with free kayaks, boats etc. Lots of sun beds to choose from. This was amazing to sit on when the sun went down, truly beautiful image captured in my mind that will stay with me forever. Dont worry if you've seen anything about "crossing a road" to get to the beach....it's not difficult in the slightest. Just drama queens!
I absolutley loved this hotel, and considering I have been to some amazing places in my short life so far: America, Carribbean, Australia, Europe, Africa's. The Casuarina is the first hotel that I could honestly say that I could see myself returning to every year.
So if your looking for somewhere that has good food, good drinks, a cozy hotel without hundreds of sunbeds for thousands of people, try the Casuarina.....you may just be glad you did.
The only negatives that I can say about this hotel:
The Celine Dion CD, that seemed to be played the entire two weeks, and seemed to rotate between the restaurant in the evening and the pool side bar during the day.....annoying! Cured by headphones and my own music.
Tv- one channel in english 'BBC Global news'.....which had "breaking news just in"....that I watched the day before. So Tv was never used and in my opinion a waste of the hotels money installing them all.
