“Lovely food, very friendly owner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

The menu is very creative and mixes creole, French and modern cuisine. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, a very lovely lady that welcomed us with a huge smile and made us feel very special during the evening.

“Good food, but almost empty and v v expensive aperitifs!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Due to all the good reviews and the lovely setting, we decided to give this place a try, despite the high prices. When we arrived, the place was empty which was a shame, but this might have been partly due to it being low season. We were rushed into ordering an aperitif (champagne), which we later found out was £16 a glass!! We were expecting it to cost a similar amount to our expensive hotel (Trou aux Biches resort and hotel) - approx. £8-£10, so we felt we'd been ripped off. Also, all the other drinks on the menu seems to be reasonable prices, so it made us think that the champagne prices were deliberately inflated... The food was very good - we had one of the set menus which was really interesting and tasty. The service was ok, but too attentive as we were the only guests for the majority of the evening. The setting is beautiful, but the atmosphere was lacking due to its emptiness. Overall, we had a good evening, but we left with a bad taste in our mouths due to the excessive apertif charges (nearly 50% of our total bill!). I would recommend this place for the food and the setting, but if atmosphere is important to you, best to check whether it will be busy or not (and don't forget to check prices before you order your drinks!)

“Greaty for Lunch and Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

Although in the higher end price wise, this is a very good table with warm welcome from Odile and the Chef Gobin. warmly recommend and the situation is very well situated by the jetty on the water.
