I stayed at the Indian Resort in Mauritius. Its a beautiful place. Away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Very quiet & tranquil. Staff were downright helpful & always with a smile.
The only drawback is that there is a minimum of sea activities as most of the superb activities like undersea walk and the 1 day cruise on a boat is all centered around Port Louis - north of Mauritius whereas Indian Resort is located South of Mauritius.
My recommendation is that if one is not interested in sea activities, then Indian resort would be a splendid place to go to. However, if one is adventurous and love sea activities, then Port Louis will win hands down.
Overall, Mauritius is where HEAVEN MEETS EARTH.
