“The BEST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Just came home from a last-minute weekend...we always stay at B&Bs and this is one of the best we've ever encountered. Cozy, immaculate, up-to-date in every way and decorated to the nines. Great location, one can walk right into town, yet great privacy with a lovely garden and pool for relaxation. I cannot recommend this highly enough; if you're going to the area, stay here!

This charming and cozy bed and breakfast has twice made our venture onto the wine trail a very pleasant experience. Our second visit included another couple whom also fell in love with the place. Terry's personality only added to our wonderful stay. The place was very clean with an unbelievably manicured landscape that included a pool, gazebo and lawn ornaments that expressed the love of nature possessed by the owners. To top it all off, the breakfast that is served each morning is not your typical one. French toast made from croissants were served on beautiful china. This was accompanied by sausage and bacon, as well as a fruit cup and cranberry bread. Descriptive words cannot do this place justice. You need to check it out for yourself.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, however, there is one suite that has a private entrance.

the website pictures do not do this place justice. It is so warm, cozy and comfortable. Walking distance to town for dinner and sunday morning farmer's market. My friend was hiking the appalachian trail and I flew out to meet him in Warwick. As soon as I called to reserve the room, Terry offered to pick my friend up from the trail since I was not arriving till later. he was like family the minute we met him, but not at all intrusive. We stayed in the back "apartment" overlooking the pool which was wonderful....comfy bed and lots of privacy..We will definitely be back whenever we return to the area.. we miss Terry already....

Great place and the service is amazing!!! Terry the owner has that lovely irish charm, honest and playful.  The rooms are full of details and well kept. The breakfast wast incredible, the croissant french toast is to die for, also endless juice and coffee, plus best bacon I have ever had. My wife and I spend our wedding anniversary at this lovely bed and breakfast and I think we are making it a tradition.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a B&B kind of person. Not because I'm a hotel snob, I just dont love too many doilies, flowered wallpaper & the musty smell that sometimes goes along with them. What I do love is a place that has traditional character & charm as well as being warm. Well this was that place. The house is so beautifully decorated and is kept very clean. We stayed for the weekend in the Emerald suite. The room is on the first floor but there is only 2 other rooms upstairs so noise was never an issue. I loved the fireplace in the room, the private entrance was a nice bonus & the bathroom had an amazing shower. Everything was clean. We were greeted with smiles & treated that way our whole stay and the breakfast was delish! Also in a great location, we usually drive everywhere which was easy enough from this B&B but we did choose to walk into town on occasion to avoid the traffic backup. Everything is close. Nice front porch to relax on as well and the tv room was a hit for us.

Room Tip: Emerald Suite was amazing with fireplace, cozy bed, nice decor and great shower. It's on the fir...

We went to Warwick for a weekend getaway. As soon as we arrived at Ashford Cottage, Terry greeted us and gave us a grand tour of the cottage. Every room is decorated so beautifully! We loved staying at this cottage and enjoyed the delicious breakfast even more. We were sad to leave but looking forward to going back for another romantic trip!
