I've enjoyed the food at this organic, veggie restaurant before at the old location and was looking forward to a good lunch at their new digs. They've done well with the larger quarters. Spacious and friendly. The wait and counter service has expanded to meet the needs of the larger space and is quite good. I ordered the garlicky spinach soup and Far East bowl. My companion ordered the Tex Mex bowl. The soup could have used more seasoning, kind of bland. I asked for salt and it improved slightly, but I really could not distinguish either the garlic or spinach. The Far East bowl was way too salty. It's possible the dressing was the culprit as the rice, kale, carrots tofu etc. were highly salted. Maybe during this shake down time the cooks could hone the seasoning skills that are so important to this cuisine.
Lots of attention paid to eating local, sustainable and organic. Even the bowls, utensils are compostable. This place seems to be a regular hang out for the vegan crowd. Good luck, less salt.
