“Beautiful Wedding...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Went to a wedding at the Warwick Valley Winery and it was beautiful. Ceremony was on top of the apple orchard at sunset with live music. You could sit outside or inside for cocktails and had passed hot hors d'oeuvres which were great. They had a buffet style dinner which was delicious. A good time was had by all. Will go back for apple/pear picking and their wine tasting....

“nice weekend day trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

The best thing about this place is not the wine, but the grounds and atmosphere. In the summer and spring, take advantage of the live music, large lawn, patio, and bocce ball court. We usually bring blankets and chairs to sit on the lawn, eat their thin crust pizza with a few bottles of wine, and relax with friends.

“Great weekend day trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

This is the perfect destination for a Saturday or Sunday day trip.
If you want to sample the wine before purchasing, the wine tasting session offers 6 different varieties including a dessert wine and the price you pay includes the glass. You can then purchase a bottle, they will uncork it if you'd like, go outside on the patio drink your wine and enjoy live music. You can also bring your own chair and/or blanket and relax on the grass.
The food is good and consists of sandwiches, salads and pizza; enough of a variety for everyone.

“Good lunch spot”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

We were headed to Sugar Loaf to shop and needed a place to have lunch. We followed the signs to the Warwick Valley Winery because their website had a fantastic picture of the grounds, and the cafe menu looked terrific. Lucky for us that it was a gorgeous day out and the food we had fit exactly with what we wanted. We shared the apple and Gorgonzola salad and a lemon chicken salad sandwich, both of which were delicious and plenty filling for the 2 of us.

This being said, the wine tasting did nothing for us. If you like sweet, light wines then this might be a good place for you, but if you prefer full bodied, flavorful, complex wines, then don't bother. On a positive note, for $5 you tried 5 wines and a hard cider and got to keep the wine glass.

The grounds are beautiful here and if the day is nice, this is a great place to sit outside, relax and enjoy a nice lunch.

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Great place to spend an afternoon, always live music on the weekends. Café serves great food for a reasonable price. You can grab a fantastic bottle of wine and a fruit and cheese platter all for under $25-$30 and spend an afternoon listening to great music in a beautiful setting. Even in the winter with the wood burning stove going this place is great!!!
