very friendly and helpful stuff, good location, but way too expensive and NOT very clean! There was spider nets everywhere in our room. don't take a closer look under the bed... Another plus was the parking ticket for the beach which we got for free :)

clean, friendly staff, good location.....maybe a bit pricey but for the hamptons you really can't beat it.....will stay again and would reccomend to anyone needing a good place to stay out east. its easily one of the better overall options out on the east end.

My rez got totally messed up but these people are unbelievably nice. They found me a room somewhere else. Unfortunately a discusting nasty place but that wasnt their fault.

Their rooms were super clean and beds comfortable.

Everything about this place was perfect. I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm not sure what the previous posts were talking about.... We were worried by it the comments, but when we arrived (@ 11:00 am, tired), we were pleasantly surprised about how clean it was. It smelled clean and not like mold... And when we returned from the beach the next day it was cleaned and smelt the same. The property is beautifully manicured and the pool is nice and clean. It's certainly not the Ritz... They even call the places "cabins" because that is the look and feel, but that is the charm.... But don't worry they aren't like cabins at sleep away camp when you were a kid... Nice a/c, kitchen and some have legit kitchens w island .. Great for families... Ours didn't cause it was just 2 of us, but we cld see into the big sliding glass doors to the unoccupied ones. The owners, husband and wife, were superbly sweet!(not something you find from most long islanders) ...gave us beach passes for parking and great advice on where to go!! when we asked about the fireworks, she didn't know but was so happy to look it up for us! Now, That is Service! I highly recommend

The 380 Inn in Wainscott was formerly the Enclave Inn. It was truly terrible. This past spring, it was taken over by Ross and Doug and has been totally transformed. It is a true gem in the Hamptons scene and is a secret which which will be discovered very shortly. It is THE best deal for a Hamptons vacation. It is now completely renovated with lovely new bedding. It is on Montauk Highway but away from the noise. Ross and Doug are charming and have made the Inn very appealing with continental breakfast- coffee, etc. and a lovely pool. There are new plantings and some rooms have kitchenettes. We stayed there over the weekend when the US Open Women's Golf Tournament was in the Hamptons. Within walking distance from the Hampton Jitney, the Seafood Shop and Twice Upon a Bagel. What more could you ask for? It is 10 minutes to East Hampton and 5 minutes to the Wainscott Beach. It is a great value if you want to stay in the heart of the Hamptons. I believe the telephone number has changed so make sure you call the "380 Inn."

Room Tip: The standard rooms are fine but there are a few deluxe cottages. Call directly to the Inn and speak...
