“We enjoyed our 3 night stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2008

This Inn is a great value for the price. I paid $181. for 3 nights, and we received a quiet night's rest, with no problems. The staff was upbeat and friendly. The rooms are very clean and modern. No complaints at all. I would recommend this to anyone traveling across NYS, as it's just off 95, exit 45 in Rochester. Free WiFi as well!

We stayed in Nov 08. Booked off the website for $49 (weekend) per night. It was very clean, and a decent size. There is breakfast (free) on the weekends, with a good selection (cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee [terrible coffee], cream cheese/peanut butter for your bagels). There is wireless internet (free) throughout the hotel, and free long-distance calling throughout the U.S. It's the best motel I've stayed at in this price range. It's located in a good subruban area, with a large mall close by.

Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here again and were impressed. The lobby and hallways still smell like smoke, but they have sealed the rooms, so they smell just fine. Ask for a room away from the highway, if you think the traffic will bother you and you won't hear a thing! Next to chili's denny's wendy's and other restaurants in walking distance. Everything is really clean for a budget hotel. We will probably stay here a 3rd time if we are ever in the area again. You won't find a better deal anywere. And yes the window seat is a huge plus!

Good value motel.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Furnishings, linens, and bathroom were very clean.
Had a computer/internet for guest use in the kitchen area just off the lobby.
Great location!
Bed was too firm for us, though.
Would not hesitate to stay again if the beds were more comfortable.
Overall, what you would expect for the reasonable price.

This hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms. We chose this hotel because of it's low room rate, good reviews and close proximity to Rochester, NY. This was our first stay at a Microtel Inn. At $80/night (including taxes) I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

  • Liked — Great value
  • Disliked — Continental breakfast started at 7:00AM which was too late for us

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience staying for one night at the Microtel in Victor.

The hotel is quiet, nicely located just a little bit off I-90, extremely convenient getting onto/off of the interstate, but away from the noise. There is a Chili's (of course, not great, but convenient) an easy 2 minute walk from the hotel.

We found the facilities perfectly clean and the room outfitted for
comfort. The A/C worked brilliantly, the bathroom was well-stocked with unique toiletries that conferred a bit of a boutique feel to the hotel -- though I say this only a bit in jest, since it is a budget motel after all.

My favorite part about the hotel, and maybe this is the case for some other Microtels, is the cushioned window seat. I'll tell you -- after a very long day riding on our BMW motorcycle, we were exhausted, and there is nothing like putting your feet up (we were both able to sit on the seat at the same time, facing each other) looking out to the sky, and drinking a glass of wine. So relaxing, and a really nice, different sort of touch to the room.

  • Liked — Cushioned window seat, for sure
  • Disliked — There was a surly woman setting out the food for the breakfast who was really unwelcoming

We arrived very late but the hotel staff was still very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable - comparable to many Hampton Inn's I've stay at. The wi-fi worked. Breakfast was typical continental fare. It was a very pleasant surprise after a long hard day.

  • Liked — Very nice room, great beds and pillows
  • Disliked — some traffic noise but not unbearable
