Undergoing refurbishment, power cut in morning at breakfast, on the good side goiod internet access and good local restaurants and drinking establishments close by.

Make sure you don't leave any personal items unsecured or leave
behind after check out, their HOUSEKEEPING STAFF'S integrity
is questionable and not in compliance with the Marriott chain
guidelines. It was due to my negligence that I left the item behind,
but it was never turned over to the hotels management. Don,t
tip housekeeping.

This hotel was everything I expected it to be. I booked my room through the website and used my reward points. Marriott stated that the rooms were recently renovated. I also entered all of my preferences for the room, most important of all was the roll away bed. When we arrived I was surprised to see that the hotel looked much newer on the outside than I thought it would and the rooms were clean and nice looking as well. The best thing of all though was that the roll away bed was already in place and waiting for us. I get so irritated when a hotel asks for what you want ahead of time and then totally ignores it. Usually when I get to the room I have to call the front desk to ask for everything (like extra towels, foam/extra pillows, roll-away bed) that I requested before hand. This was the first Marriott that actually was prepared for me! Kudos to you! Service was great and the location was good too. There is a nice Chuckie Cheese's adjacent to the parking lot which my kids loved! Vestal highway has tons of shopping and restaurants too!

Stayed overnight at the Courtyard Binghamton the weekend of October 28. This is the 2nd time I've stayed there when visiting SUNY. Check-in is a breeze, the staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean, the bed is very comfortable and you really can't ask for a better location (it's near everything). Coffee/tea is available all day long in the lobby. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
