The Lodge is a wonderful lodging experience. We were greeted in our room with soft, jazz music playing and after dinner there were robes and slippers for turn down service. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a separate shower and tub setup. The balcony had a great view overlooking the garden in the front of The Lodge (rear rooms overlook a patio, garden, pond and golf course driving range). A little pricey but well worth it if you take in all it offers!

Attended a family wedding there. Security could not control the noise coming from the room next door. Called them and the noise continued. After 3 hours with no sleep and facing a 6 hour drive, I went into their lobby to get some sleep and complained again.. You can have all the amenities you want - but you can't sleep in the room and security does not care. Totally worthless all for $330 a night, which your credit card company can't do anything about because you got the room. They did offer me a complimentary room - but I would not travel 350 miles to stay there again!!

We stayed here for just one night to break up a long car trip. The Lodge is beautiful. Everything about the room was top notch. The room was huge - with a separate living room, a large balcony, and a bathroom with both a two headed shower and a big soaking tub. The bed was also very comfortable. It really felt like an oasis.

The only warning is if you aren't a golfer or gambler - there isn't much to do at/near the hotel. The resturant in the Lodge is very expensive, so we ended up wandering over to the casino to eat. The food was good - but the overall experiance (smoke, noise, etc.) was in sharp contrast to the peacefulness of the Lodge.

This was simply a 5 star experience. We never opened a door or turned back a bed, we were pampered! I Everything was a short indoor walk away. Besides gambling , golf , and eating however, the nearest sights were miles away. Well worth the high price.

We went to meet an internationally ranked pool player and get a lesson from her for my husband's Christmas present. (Turning Stone hosted a pool tournament.) We did not go to gamble (and for others that don't, limited shopping and "inside" activities). We stayed for one night in a luxury suite with a livingroom, bath and a half, fireplace, wet bar, and outside hot tub. The decor was VERY modern, sparse and calming. We didn't expect much when we went to the Italian restaurant (Pino Bianco) for dinner but we were pleasantly surprised by a very lovely and well-prepared meal. Breakfast in the Lodge was also delicious and special. All staff members were helpful - some very friendly. Overall, it was a treat and we thought we'd like to return in season to play golf.

The property was peaceful, well maintained and offered all the amenities a person could need for a relaxing weekend. The pool was beautiful, golf course was one of the best I have seen in the U.S. The room(228) was spacious, huge soaking tub, great view from balcony, and on time turndown service every night. My only real issue was my bed wasn't that comfortable. The hotel manager Carrie E. was very helpful, professional and is one of the main reasons I will be returning to the resort in the future.

Room Tip: Get a room with view of the golf course

My husband and I stayed in the Lodge and golfed 2 of the three courses. The lodge is lovely, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant, Wildflowers, was sub-standard. Flat, more like a crepe, pancakes and insipid waffles were served at breakfast. The staff are polite but service was quite slow both mornings we had breakfast in the restaurant.

Kaluhyat is a challenging and pretty course. Atunyote was a fantastic, beautiful golf course! The conditions were immaculate. This is what you get when a "busy" day has only 50 golfers teeing it up. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The casino was incredibly smokey. It's not really our thing but we wandered through the floor and felt as though we had smoked a pack each. The steakhouse and chinese food restaurants were quite good.

The Lodge is really a world away from the rest of the resort. Beautiful, peaceful and lovely.

We would return to The Lodge.
