“Clean, quiet, comfortable, well appointed.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

I love golf and love to get away from the desert heat this time of year. A friend and I chose the Tower hotel at Turning Stone for a golf trip. We spent 2 nights and I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable the room was, equivalent to a much more expensive hotel. We slept very well and the service was outstanding too. I'll make every effort to stay again. We did not visit the gambling areas. Thank you!

Room Tip: Views are better the higher up you are. Elevators are fast!

Great convention location. Lots to do. Very friendly staff. Tower room was very clean and comfortable. Extra towels, shampoo and conditioner available if needed. Customer service was good and in room dining was very good, as well. Services and amenities clearly explained upon check in. Smoke free room, indeed smelled smoke free! Quiet rooms. We did not hear our neighbors although the hotel was fully booked. This is my second trip here and will most definitely visit in the future!

We had a ball. There are several restaurants to accommodate all tastes and budgets as well as gaming options in the casino. We would definitely go back. The people were exceptionally friendly and professional.

Turning Stone reminded me of a machine that hasno heart. Employees worked ona script and were somewhat pleasant but not empowered. Arrived at valet, mentioned we were only parking for an hour (needed to change for rehearsel dinner) , when we came down it took 15 minutes to get our car. Time was tight because we had to change rooms. Check-in was ok. When I asked for higher floor the chekc-in person had to "check with a supervisor". Each step seemed very programmed and we were given some inaccurate information. When we got to our room, and started to change , we found that the toilet was broken. When we called downstairs, they said they would send someone up. When the maintenance person arrived, he asked my husband "which one ?". THere was only 1 toilet in the bathroom. (meanwhile the clock is ticking).
Call back down to reception, they put me on hold "to check with supervisor" , and then agree to change our room. Wait for bellman to come up with keys. The bellman was kind. My overall impression, if you are making your guest wait on hold for the supervisor, wouldn't it be better to have the supervisor talk to the guest?? Apologize for the broken toilet? Check in at some point in our stay if things were ok. Turnig Stone lacks the personal touch which we have experienced at many hotels, some costing far less (Holiday Inn Express).
Same issue with the valet. No one explained to us that there was a valet stand where you should go (inside the lobby) to get your car.
Overall, room was nice. View from higher floor was ok, helpful for sunlight but not much to look at.

This was my third time staying at your beautiful resort, and the second time that I have stayed in one of the Tower suites. Once again, Turning Stone outdid themselves in terms of satisfaction of our stay. This was the first time I had brought my 10 year old son with me, as we were both attending the Dwight Yoakam concert in the Showroom on June 19th. The resort made him feel right at home beginning with the Valet offering to carry his bags in, to the lovely lady at the check-in desk who talked at length to him and even gave him one of the room keys to put in his wallet. Most hotels don't take the time to acknowledge their younger guests like that, but Turning Stone DEFINITELY made him feel at home! Our check-in receptionist even called up to the room shortly after we arrived to make sure we were comfortable and everything was in order. The only little negative thing I would say is that our room overlooked the parking garage, which was o.k. but wished we had a little more of an unobtrusive view.

It was another OUTSTANDING stay at Turning Stone and my wife & I are looking forward to coming back in November for our second trip to the Taste Of Home Cooking Show!!

My wife and I have stayed in the Tower in the past and have consistently experienced positive results, especially since they went predominantly non smoking. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was fairly comfortable and this time we had a great view (normally they place us in a room with a view of the parking structure). We were a bit disappointed in the availability of fine dining options since the Steakhouse was closed, the Italian restaurant was under renovation and another area was recently renovated and converted to a "tavern" which serves minimal food. This left our only options as Asian or French...no thanks! Other than the fine dining misadventure, our experience was positive.

Room Tip: If you want to enjoy the view request a higher floor and a side that doesn't overlook the parkin...

This was our anniversary celebration and our first stay in the tower. The girl who checked us in was very helpful and pleasant, as were two other employees we asked for help. We loved the Bill Cosby concert and the showroom facility. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. Thank you!
