“Great Stop in Central NYS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2006

This was a perfect spot to stop while passing through New York State - convenient to both Syracuse and Cooperstown. The rooms are very pleasant and modern with extras like free wireless Internet. The hotel is in downtown Utica but still very convenient to the Thruway. Parking in an attached indoor garage was $6.00.

We just stayed at the Radisson before dropping our son off at Hamilton College. The hotel was perfect. Room was very clean, staff very accomodating, and the price reasonable. (Buffet breakfast for two people is included in the room rate.) Hamilton is only about 20 minutes away. I would recommend any colllege bound or college shopping family to stay here. FYI - parking is an additional $6.

Stayed over with my family for one night en-route to New England. Stayed here because there was a coupon in a travel book that was a deal and wasn't expecting much. However, service was great, rooms were quite luxurious, pool was lovely and breakfast (free) was very good. Wonderful surprise in this city.

The Radisson rescued me from a terrible fate; staying in Motel 6 on North Genessee Street!

I presented myself to the front desk in a completely distressed state having just come from a hair raising experience at the Motel 6. I explained that I had tried to reserve a room at this hotel, but was unable to (no vacancy for the weekend I needed according to the internet).

The wonderful employee behind the desk was able to find me a room on a non-smoking floor. It was very nice. Perfectly clean, smelled fresh, comfortable bed, working television, and a decent view (it's Utica, there really aren't great views!).

The restaurant at the hotel was very handy for breakfast and the lounge was nice to have a drink with a relative later in the evening. We all had Sunday brunch just before I had to leave and it was well worth the cost ($20 or so per person). The food was hot, ample and very well prepared. There was a very nice variety and large selection from which to choose.

The parking garage isn't the greatest, and you will pay $6 per day to park, but it's not terrible either. The coffee maker in the room didn't seem to work properly, but again, the breakfast available downstairs had coffee.

There is a refrigerator in the room which makes it easy to have a snack or two tucked away.

The pool was well kept and quite clean.

Not only will I stay here again, it's the only place I will stay when in the Utica area from now on!

Stopped over on way from east coast of USA to Canada. The Hotel was very accessible and easily found from Interstate 95. The room was spacious with a fridge, large TV and air con. It was very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and the restaurant provided good value food. We arrived on a Sunday and the rest of Utica was closed. A perfect stop over hotel and would not hestitate to stay there again. We have a young family and are fussy where we stay.

We stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Utica and used it as a base for sightseeing in Central New York. It is a convenient location for visiting Cooperstown, museums, and historic sights in the area. We were very impressed with this hotel. Not only was the facility immaculately cleaned and kept up, the staff were very courteous and helpful. Meal service was good. Upon our return home, I actually wrote a letter to the general manager and Radisson complimenting them on this hotel. That is the first time I had ever done that.

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Utica Centre Radisson on several occasions.
The recent remodel is outstanding. The rich woods adorn every corner of the hotel.
The rooms are large, updated, comfortable, accomodating, the best rooms and the bests room value in Utica for what the traveller gets. A Four Star stay.
