This past weekend I had a chance to eat at Smoke on the Water in Tonawanda. Smoke on the Water specializes in barbeque and other “smoked” themed delectable’s. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was wonderful, the meat was piled high and so succulent. I also tried a side of their mac and cheese which was topped with goldfish crackers, green onions and drizzle of BBQ sauce, really tasty. A couple of people in our group had the ribs and said they were to die for. I really liked the variety of unique side dishes they were serving up and I can’t wait to go back and try some of their offerings. I really loved their barbeque sauce that was on the table, I’m guessing they make their own and it was really good, not too sweet and with a little spice to kick it up.
The restaurant itself is pretty small, only 8 or 10 tables in there with a nice sized bar but I was told by our waitress that their patio in the summer is much bigger and has a nice view overlooking the canal. Can’t wait to go back.
