After being overcharged immediately on my card, (the woman couldn't even use a calculator or speak English) we went into our incredibly tiny room where there was no heat. We called twice to get heat and finally the woman said she would send the manager down. The first thing was, is he saw we had a dog and said "No pets allowed" I assured him that when I booked the room I made sure that pets were allowed. Any review of this hotel on line shows this is true. He told me there was a sign in the office and when I asked him to show me-we went to the office and of course there was no sign, he said "Oh, it must have fallen down" I complete lie. Then he put us in another room that did have heat but it was the most disgusting thing I had ever been in. There was hair and stains on the sheets and I don't believe the tub had ever been cleaned. I was exhausted after driving all day and it was late--so we put clean sheets (which thank God we brought ourselves as we were moving) and left the next morning. The man first said he would only charge us for the first night but then changed his mind and said "no refunds"
I am going to the corporate headquarters, the health department and anyone I can to get this hotel closed down, or at least get my money back. It was a terrible experience and if it wasn't for the wonderful people at the Comfort Inn it would have been a terrible holiday.
