Your staff was very helpful in every way, thanks to Nick. All the guests were very happy and we enjoyed the event on 22nd June at your facility very much. Customer service was very good. We will recommend Double Tree Hilton to our family and friends always. Whatever we needed, was provided right away. Thank you.

We were married at this hotel over 40 years ago. This was our first trip back in nearly 40 years. To think, Rip Van Winkle (a local Hudson Valley character) was "gone" only half that time. We had a great welcome back to "our" hotel and enjoyed our stay immensely. The accommodations, staff, and food are all top notch. We will come back again sooner than before!

As a frequent visitor to the Doubletree in Tarrytown, im pleased to say that i have not one negative comment to make. each and every time the experience is unparalleled. The staff are always helpful, no matter what hour. Even when arriving late at night the staff are always pleasant, cheerful, respectful, and hard working. As a person who focuses alot on hotels amenities, I am always pleased. From the swimming pool, to the sauna, to the gorgeous wood-based lobby, each feature is better then the next. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and tasteful. Beds are comfortable too! As a frequent hotel- goer, I would highly recommend this for everyone; no matter how long the stay or for what occasion.

I was visiting a friend in Manhattan and stayed here to take the train in (I won't get in to the reasons why but it made sense) so I was only there to sleep and did not take advantage of any amenities. There were a couple of events - I think weddings - going on so they were pretty busy. However I was greeted promptly, taken to a desk to check in, everything was easy, smooth, friendly and they were helpful and patient. They even gave me a cookie.
The room was clean and nice. The bed was quite comfortable. I could park on the side of the hotel and come in the door next to my room. And I got a good deal on the rate using one of those 3rd party booking sites. I would definitely come back here again. Next time maybe I can check out the bar.
and on a side note to anyone not familiar with this area, Tarrytown is a nice little town. There is a diner across the street in case you don't want to pay hotel food rates and there are several decent restaurants on Main Street. Also take out if that is what you prefer.

Cannot say enough great things about the staff at this hotel. Recently celebrated our mother's 90th birthday with a weekend at Tarrytown. Doubletree is excellent convenient location. Hotel itself has great lobby and patio area. Pool (interior) very nice too. No whirlpool but sauna was a plus. Some might say bathrooms are small but was fine for us, beds very comfy. But what makes this place special was the staff. Front desk, hostess, wait staff and maintenance. Michelle Citino was incredibly kind and helpful - especially when there was a problem with my reservation. She fixed it beautifully in 24 hours. Thank you!! And front desk, especially Dolly, Kenneth, Danielle and Shara were so sweet to my mother (they even sang her happy birthday and sent an excellent cake to her room). Very caring - Wow! What a great group of people. Thank you. It made the weekend so very special.

Room Tip: Patio rooms are nice, with a small outdoor seating area.

The Doubletree Tarrytown is in a location that absolutely cannot be matched for convenience (if driving). It is right at the eastern approach to the Tappan Zee Bridge and right near Exit 9 off the NY Thruway. The eastbound entrance ramp is straight across from the hotel's parking lot exit. The Doubletree is also a pleasant stroll into downtown Tarrytown where there are many good restaurants and bars. Despite being at the approach to the Tappan Zee Bridge, road noise never is an issue. The hotel has a beautifully landscaped large courtyard in the center of the various buildings and is very serene. we enjoyed sitting outside on one of the many Adirondack chairs. The hotel was opened as a Hilton Inn in 1961 and was known as the Tarrytown Hilton Inn up until 2005 (or so). Being over 50 years old, there are some limitations (small bathrooms) but some recent renovations have helped a bit, though not all areas have been renovated. I found the central corridors still too dark and room decor still not very impressive, though bedding was comfortable. we enjoyed the high-quality breakfast buffet each morning, included in our room rate. Service in Bistro Z was excellent. It was fun to read framed articles in the lobby about the hotel's opening. It is nice to see a hotel proud of its history. Front Desk staff were also very good and obligingly changed our room to a courtyard view upon request. The indoor pool was very clear but I found the water temp too warm. We stayed there as we were touring Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate, nearby. With the right deal, we would stay there again...the positives outweight the negatives.

Room Tip: Ask for courtyard view, first floor if possible.

The Tarrytown Doubletree Hotel has been my "home away from home" for the short getaways that I have taken to the Hudson Valley the past few seasons. The staff members, from the front desk all the way into the bar/restaurant area are all very warm and cordial and work so very hard to please you and make you feel at home. I strongly recommend the Tarrytown Doubletree to anyone looking for a top quality place to lodge.
