“Very nice Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very happy with the rooms and the service. my room was clean and didn't look run down. The pricing was reasonable and I was enjoyed the Bistro. I think what made my stay most memorable was the friendly staff. They were awesome. If I am in the area again, I will be sure to stay here.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott as a family of 5 adults. It was pleasant, clean, quiet . The staff was very helpful and friendly and courteous. The roll away fit very nicely in our room. When we requested extra towels, the towels were delivered within minutes.
All in all we all had a great time at our event and this Marriott helped our weekend run quite smoothly.
Please visit this Marriott, you will not be disappointed.
Only one note, we are from FL, the pool is heated, but,,,, not warm. The hot tub was fantastic!

Room Tip: Book early for great rates.

Great hotel for a business meeting. Great food for breakfast and lunch. Great gym, pool, and jacuzzi. The rooms were comfortable. Only about 30 minutes to NYC so it's much more affordable than staying in Manhattan.

Recently stayed here and the hotel staff was super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Especially the ladies working in the Bistro:) Super Nice!!!!! The hotel was quiet and clean and the location was great. I was surprised to make it here in one hour from eastern Long Island. What a pretty town!

Great access to Westchester county, upstate NJ and the NY metropolitan area. Have been staying here for over five years and have had no complaints. Always friendly staff make the stay pleasant. Parking is also convenient and seems to be quite safe. Didn't use the restaurant so I reserve comment though when I pass by, it's usually full at Breakfast tie.

Room Tip: Due to location, all rooms are quiet. virtually no traffic noise

Stayed here for work as the Westchester Marriott was full. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by friendly staff and quickly presented with my room key and a gift (trail mix and bottled water). The layout of the hotel is a bit odd, having to either move your car to the back lot or walk a long way to your room. Once settled in, I found it to be clean and comfortable. It was a long walk back to the front desk for snacks or a drink, though. The pool area was very clean and the grounds were well-kept. The wireless internet access is a bit slow, but the wired connection was fine. If you don't mind no room service and are just looking for a clean, quiet place to rest your head, this hotel is more than sufficient.

Room Tip: If your room is near the back, part in the back lot.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I stayed here for one night in early September. Surprisingly, the hotel was fully booked. It was not a holiday weekend and I found this surprising as the front desk clerk was unaware of any events in the area and the room rate was not especially competitive, although I did book at the last minute.

Parking was a bit of a challenge due to my late arrival and the fact that it was a full house, but I found something at the back of the property that was in close enough proximity to my room.

This property has been updated to fit in with the newer look this chain has been slowly rolling out over the last few years, although being an older property it is not quite as bright and shiny as the new ones in the public areas such as hallways.

Nonetheless everything was spotlessly clean and the room was as expected.

The property is unique in that it looks like it is carved into the side of a mountainside. This makes it a little difficult to locate but it is right across the street from another Marriott property and there is a decent amount of signage.

The location is great as well - next to the Tappan Zee Bridge in Tarrytown close to several large corporations and many hotels. If you want to venture out to eat while staying here, I recommend having a car with you. Tarrytown is a quaint little town on the Hudson river and there are a number of small restaurants and shops on the main street. Since the hotel is located in a primarily area on a busy main road close to I-287, it is not very walkable. Taxi cabs may be available on call however having a car is strongly recommended for extensive travel while staying here.

No surprises here - despite a full house I never heard a sound from any other room and since the property is set back from the road, there is no street noise.

Overall, a clean comfortable and quiet one night at a brand I frequently stay at.
