We spent a lovely, last warm evening dining alfresco at the Striped Bass. Happy Hour offers inexpensive Margaritas and other cocktails. Dinner on the deck next to the water was delightful. I had the stuffed pork chop which was not only delicious it was enormous. Our initial wine selection was not available but at the suggestion of our waitress and after a sample we went with what is apparently their house Chardonnay which was remarkably good especially for the price. The wine selection, though not extensive, had some interesting bottles and several which were very reasonable. Although wee heard reports to the contrary, we fund the menu to be reasonably priced as well. All in all we had a marvelous time in a casual atmosphere.
One caveat, some GPSs cause one to turn a block too soon; go straight at the stop sign after going down the ramp. It is on the right across from the train station. There is an awning to the sidewalk and the entrance is on the side.
