“Appethaizing Restaurants are very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2012

My husband and I have been to both Appethaizing Restaurant locations in the Syracuse area......Syracuse University area and Liverpool. We were very please with the meals at both. I think that the Liverpool location is a much nicer, fancier with a beautiful decor. It is located near the Tops Market near the corner of Routes 57 and 31. The service at the Liverppol location is always very good and the food is always fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant is immaculate. The entrees cost between $8 and $14 and the portions are hearty. Last time we dined there I had the brown noodles with chicken. This is a wonderful choice for someone who does not like hot and spicy foods. The brown noodles are also available with shrimp or beef.

“Great Thai Food in a modern basement location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2012

Ok... Location is weird. You walk down a sort of alley, enter the doorway and walk downstairs. Wow. You are in this nicely decorated modern Thai restaurant. They serve all the standards and everything we have had, has always been good. A hidden gem below the streets of Syracuse.

“Authentic Thai Food in Chic Locale”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

Far better than Erawan. This restaurant actually tastes like the authentic Thai food that I tasted in Thailand. I love the decor as well. It's very clean and open on the inside. The servers are always available. I never had to seek them out, but they didn't hover either. There are a ton of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The ranges of spices and spiciness are great for everyone to feel comfortable. If you like Thai food, definitely go here--not Erawan.

“Best Thai food ever.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2011

It is easy to miss this restaurant--we actually walked right on by. It is located downstairs and doesn't look all that appealing, but don't let that fool you. The server was friendly and very attentive. The spring rolls were on the oily side, but none the less very tasty. I can't say enough about the fish entree I had--it was listed as spicy and garlicky--and it was. Probably the best Thai fish plate have ever had. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. There is only white rice available, that is a small disappointment though. Dinner for two with drinks was $44 with tip.

“This Time We Tried Their 'Takout'"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2011

As an alternative to Chinese or Pizza, we decided to try this restaurant again, this time with the "take out' menu. We weren't disappointed.

We had enough Thai rice with chicken, and sushi rolls to feed four people - for less than $20. Not bad! The food was tasty and hot, and they packed a good selection of sauces.
