Why is Tim Hortons so depressing? I've been to this one and one in North Syracuse and both were so dark inside. Silent as a tomb, and the servers seem so depressed and lifeless. WiFi was down, hash browns were stone cold; I took two bites and dumped them.
The staff at both stores were so dismal I felt like an intruder and wanted to apologize for being there.
After eating, I ordered a 10 piece Timbit and two hot teas to go. The server handed the scalding hot cups of tea to me along with the small box of Timbits. It was a precarious juggle to get it all out to the car without burning myself. No offer to help with the door, or give me a cup holder.
A sad experience. I'll bypass Tim Hortons for Dunkins next time.
