“Eat Here If You Want to Wait an Hour and a Half for a Lousy Lobster”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

I ordered a steamed lobster during Lobster Fest week. I waited and waited and waited. The waiter brought salads and then we waited..... Then the waiter said it would just be a little while longer. And, we waited. Then I found out that my order never was placed though my husband's was. The waiter said it would just be a little while longer - again. And - we waited. Finally the manager - apologizing - brought a lobster that had been put under the broiler and was as hard as a rock - tasteless - and cold. My husband's meal was fine. One would think that a restaurant called The Red Lobster would know how to cook a Lobster! On a good note: the manager did give us the meals for free - but i wasted over two and a half hours at a restaurant (we had to wait to be seated which is understandable at a chain that doesn't take reservations) for a lousy meal. I can't fault the waiter - he was new and very personable and solicitous, but he should have been better trained by management. I did leave him a tip as I felt sorry for him!

There was a hour wait, but we walked there. Food was awesome. Service was pretty good too! We ate the fresh salmon special and the 2 kinds of lobster special!

“Lobster Fest was GREAT!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

A group of us ate here last week during a business trip, and we found their Lobster Fest night to be fantastic! For under $30.00, you could get a huge dish of lobster, including a cold water Maine tail, as well as a rock lobster tail that was enough for two people! The side dishes that came with the lobster were wonderful, and even the broccoli was cooked to perfection.

We always have a wonderful time at this Red Lobster, and will continue to patronize this place. (It's the one on Erie Blvd.) Great food and great service at a very modest price. We loved it, and will be back in the future.

“Great service, average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Very crowded on a Saturday night--the wait was 30 minutes. Our server, Trevor, was fantastic with wxceptional service on this very busy night! Too bad I couldnt say the same about the food. The food was average. Not bad, not great, just average, nothing special. It looked and tasted like it was prepackaged and just reheated from a box, and it was certainly nothing special. The service, though, was spectacular. We never ran out of water or their cheese biscuits, and the used plates were removed in a timely fashion. Our server checked periodically to make sure everything was OK.
