Having their own large parking lot with an extremely hospitable atmosphere creates the need to make reservations ahead of time to ensure your seat to eat! Our motto is "Eat Small, Live Large" plus every day the owners Laura Serway and Cindy Seymour are very thankful to own and operate the only Tapas restaurant in Syracuse, New York! “Great Place for a Dining Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

We recently had the chance to visit Laci's. It was memorable and now on the list of must revisit restaurants in Syracuse.
It was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was busy. The only seats left for dinner were at the bar. Can you believe it, a Tuesday night in Syracuse at 7 and they were very busy.
Sitting at the bar made the visit special - the bartender was our personal tour guide to the way the restaurant works and the others at the bar were eager to share their opinions on each item on the menu - kind of like having Trip Advisor there in person.
The food was outstanding - my wife loved the lamb chops. The neat part about the tapas plates is that each of us ordered a couple of dishes with idea of sharing with each other - something you always want to do at a great restaurant - at least we do.
The food was great, the service outstanding and the atmosphere warm and friendly. All make Laci's a must in Syracuse.

“Small Plates Big Menu Giant Happiness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

What an unexpected delight to find this contemporary yet "homey" atmosphere (setting is an actual home that has been re-purposed) tucked into a transitional neighborhood not far from Syracuse University and just off the downtown district. The chef has exceptional creative flair and a passion to please every palate. The small plate concept and well designed wine menu ensured our party of 6 all ate and drank exactly what each of us was in the mood for in terms of both quantity and flavors. And, the pricing was very reasonable. I can't wait to have an excuse to return to this tasty and fun restaurant even if I have to put snow boots on to get there!! Be sure to make a reservation if you decide to go - table space is limited. Next time I hope to have some time to hang out at the bar as that also looked appealing. Gotta love a place that puts wasabi peas out instead of bar nuts! Large, free parking lot behind the restaurant. As of this review closed on Sundays and Mondays.

“Fantastic Tapas and Dining!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

I've reviewed Laci's before and we love it. We've been back several times since 8/12. Every time it has been excellent dining experience. Last night, 10/11/13 Martha and I took her cousins Bobbi and Sue to Laci's. Another feast. Sue and I split a bottle of Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon, Martha had Clean Slate Riesling. Bobbi opted for a refreshing glass of our local water : ).

Tapas - Beef Wellington, Grilled Butternut Squash Risotto, Shrimp & Grits, Parmesan Scallops, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Baked Mac n' Cheese, Lamb Chops, and Ravioli Caprese. Sue and I loved the Shrimp & Grits. Bobbi thought it was too spicy. Martha doesn't like seafood. The Grilled Butternut Squash Risotto was a little dry but good. Everything else was excellent.

Desserts
Raspberry Lemon - Vanilla Cake, lemon mousse with a hint of raspberry preserves and lemon butter cream frosting, Creme Brulle and French Press Coffee. Check it out!

“Local regular favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Friends and I have made this a regular stop every few weeks after long days at work. Food is good, atmosphere is nice and drinks have us relaxing after crazy work days. The small plates (tapas) allows us to share and sample all sorts of food, not to mention the Tuesday special of 1/2 price bottles of wine. We all insist on buying our own and taking our leftover wine home after they seal our bottles for safe transporting. Will continue to stop here regularly.

“dinning out in Syracuse NY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Wed. night is Margarita night but that is not the draw, the food is creative and tasty. The squash rissoto with steak with fall spices was the special but the martini beef was equally delicious. We thought the special attention to our table from start to finish by owner and staff was a highlight. This is a tapas menu so we shared all our plates. Each choice was terrific but the roasted root veggies was my favorite. I finished it off with a cup of decaf, french press pot at the table, a fine end to a fabuilous dinner. We were a group of five and we all left happy.
