“Great Sangritas”

A nice Change to the regular Mexican menus, Two dining rooms make the wait less painful. They also have a Tapas restaurant attached

“Not quite what I expected.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

I just had dinner with a few friends after work. Staff was very attentive but unfortunately the food wasn't so good. I don't think I'll return as there are many other Mexican restaurants in the area I can choose from.

“Mediocre Mexican Fare”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Just ate there for the first time in many years and it was not a great meal for the money they charge. I've eaten better Mexican food at the fast-food chain Moe's. The place itself was a bit dingy and had a door open to their basement that had a really awful smell. We didn't sit near there but it gave a very bad impression. The meal started out okay with the decent frozen margaritas my girlfriend and I drank along with some chips and salsa they served. But from there it went downhill. Ordered some boneless Mexican chicken wings as an appetizer and asked for them to be spicy. This turned out to be the consistency of bad sesame chicken you would find at a cheap Chinese takeout place. And they were anything but spicy.

Next, we had the following entrees: enchiladas for my girlfriend and Aztec chicken salad for me. Both dishes really lacked flavor and were completely unmemorable. The place gives the impression that it's authentic Mexican but it is far from authentic.

Our waiter for the evening was pleasant enough and came by frequently during the meal to ask how things were. However, after our table was cleared, we waited 10-15 minutes and had to call him over to ask for the check.

Anyway, I would suggest avoiding this place unless you have some sort of special deal or coupon. It isn't worth the visit.

“Well-cooked and nicely seasoned”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

We had eaten at Ole Ole several years ago. We had purchased a Groupon and decided to try it again. We were pleasantly surprised. Started with the typical complimentary chips and salsa - the salsa was tasty. Had the Nachos with Chorizo as an appetizer. Our two main dishes: the shrimp with plantains in coconut and ginger sauce was not overly sweet (a good combination) and the rib-eye which was tender (like butter) and marinated to perfection (you could still taste the meat). The Groupon included 2 sangria (although there was an additional charge because one was white Sangria instead of the typical red). We will be back!

“Bland for Mexican food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013 via mobile

We've tried this place twice. The food is way too bland for our taste. We prefer a few other places in town.
