The food was decent, but over priced. For $25 for a plate of lasagna (not an overly complicated dish - actually a simple culinary creation) I thought I would be overwhelmed by some sort of special taste sensation. But no, it was just average lasagna. Members of my family felt the same way about their dishes. They were decently prepared, but just average.
Service was good. This is a long time member of the Suffern restaurant community, so by no means is this some fly by night sloppy business conducted by newbies, but the premia that you shall pay for various dishes vs other establishments (eg the top notch Marcello's a few doors down) will leave you wondering 'why did I drop a load of cash at Da Nina's?'.
