I am not sure i am drinking the five star cool aid on this one.... This place serves solid average Mexican on any given night. Similar to taste and feel of Mexican you used to be served at the fiesta places before they went down the toilet. This is not fine dining and nothing makes it on the menu that is anywhere near " outside the box". The standouts on the menu would be the ceviche and the bacon wrapped shrimp entree. Some more traditional fare like burritos etc.... Can be found in better form at one of the other 10 Mexican restaurants within a blocks radius of this one.
That said, the ambiance in this restaurant is better than any of the others in the area... Tetacotta tiles and a fun place to bring the family or a date.... Likely the best Mexican restaurant in the area but not a culinary five star place.
