“Excellent food, huge portions, low prices, friendly staff makes Andrews very popular among locals.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Although it is located in a strip mall and doesn't look like a diner I would vote for Andrew's as the best diner on Staten Island. Its loyal patrons return over and over again for its wide variety of excellent dishes, including the freshest fish, traditional Greek diner dishes, excellent juicy burgers, fabulous soups and much more. I especially enjoy their filet of sole francese, with it's rich lemon sauce. I've tried their Greek and Italian dishes (moussaka, spanakopita, eggplant parmigiana) which are second to none. I especially enjoy their felafel. My wife and I always share a full dinner (salad, soup, entree and dessert) and usually can't finish the entree.

“Decent enough”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

Went for breakfast. Was just okay. Home fries have onions and peppers in them but not much oomph. Omelet was overcooked. Scrambled eggs were good. Bacon came crispy as ordered. Ordered one of the combo breakfasts that come with coffee/tea and juice. The juice was no more than 3 ounces! Rye toast ~ one slice was fine but the other was half burnt. Waitress was good. Felt it was a bit pricey.
