My children and I were completely delighted with the suite at Victorian Villa on Staten Island. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. The rooms were charming, functional and clean. The neighborhood was friendly, easy-going and we always felt safe. Almost immediately the kids started calling the suite "home" and rightfully so as we felt at home. The amenities provided for us such as towels, blankets, pots, plates, etc, were ample. There was a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the suite, and the hosts were thoughtful enough to provide dishwasher soap and laundry detergent, as well as a vacuum, amoung other things, to help us keep our "home" straightened up while we were there if we chose to do so. The appliances provided were in new condition, and good working order. The ferry to get to NYC is a short walk from the villa. There are family owned businesses on the corner of the block such as a bakery, markets and restaurants. The prices at the businesses were reasonable, the products were fresh, and we never had to get in our vehicle and search for a supermarket. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay. I would recommend it, and I would stay there again if I ever have the chance.
