We made reservations for 7:30 and were not seated until 8:15. Silly excuses were made while we watched 4 waitstaff set ONE table while 4 tables were waiting to be set. When we finally were seated, it was a while before we were able to order. One waitress was too busy dancing to music being played next door than take an order. It was difficult even understanding who our main waiter actually was. There weren't any managers around to oversee their staff and the hostess was rude.
End of summer, maybe, but should NOT matter what time of year customers visit your restaurant. Poor behavior and restaurant etiquette.
When our meals finally came, mine was very bland and a friend's meal was served on a broken plate! She had to wait while they re-prepared her meal. Which meant, she now could not enjoy her meal with the rest of us. How do you place a dinner on a broken plate?
It was one thing after another. Water poured in other diner's wine glasses with white wine in them! Dinners coming at random etc.etc.
Finally, a manager stopped by asking customers about their dining experience. I am sure he wished he had skipped our table. He acted as if we were making it up. In the end, he reluctantly, offered us free desserts. Unfortunately, the damage had been done before we even sat down. Instead of trying to rectify the reservation fiasco, they just kept doing their best imitation of a low rate comedy show.
Will NEVER return. It was an unacceptable performance by a so called, high end restaurant.
