“Real Irish Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

Where to start...the food was excellent. We tried four different dishes and each one was a hit. Corned beef and cabbage, bangers (sausage) and mashed potatoes, strip steak and an irish version of chicken cordon bleu. Each dish was wonderful. The steak was cooked just right and the corned beef was very tender. We also had an appetizer, Irish nachos that were crinkle cut fries topped with corned beef, cheese, jalapenos and salsa, yum. It was a little loud but there were a lot of people. The decor was really neat. Parking garage was right next to the place. If you like Irish, this is a must.

“Authentic Irish Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Have gone to the Irish Times twice: once for lunch and once for the brunch on St. Patrick's Day. Both times we found the food to be much like what we had in Ireland. For lunch I had the Irish Sausage Roll which is Irish Banger sausages wrapped in soft Phylo dough that are baked
and served with a Dijon dipping sauce. The sausges were good and the phylo dough was flaky. The order was more than I could eat. Hsuband had the Guiness Stew which he declared was good, but not as good as he had in Ireland.

For the brunch there was a buffet that represented a traditional Irish breakfast. You were allowed to go through the line once, but could take as much as you wanted. The food was very good, and we had more than enough to eat.

The atmosphere is that of an Irish pub. While we were not there for the bar scene, we have heard that from our adult children that the place can really get rocking.

Accessiblity: the first floor of the restaurant is fully accessible, including to those in wheelchairs.

“Great Bar Atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We have been here a couple times for dinner and havent really cared for it. Service was very slow, Menu was alright but not great. The late night bar scene is much more fun but if you are looking for dinner I recommend going elsewhere.

“Good food, interesting menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Irish Times is just off Broadway in Saratoga, the busiest street in downtown. This site has changed hands a few times over the years, hopefully Irish Times can stay the course. It offers everything from great cheeseburgers to traditional Irish fare such as Guinness stew, shepherd's pie, fish and chips, etc. We've tried all of the above and we have yet to be disappointed. The second floor dining areas are cool with booth seating in the bar area below. Lots of beer choices and reasonable prices.
