This was the most horrible hotel I've ever stayed in. The lobby was dirty and the staff was lazy and sloppily dressed. As soon as we entered the room we had to call housekeeping to vacuum the schmutz on the carpet. The desk chair was badly stained and well worn (I've seen better in the city dump). The instructions for the "Air Conditioner Unit" were moldy. The TV didn't work - and once replaced the cable reception was fuzzy. There were two restaurants, one was closed for the evening and the other (Bar/Lounge?Restaurant - poorly decorated in left-over garage sale motif) closed 1-1/2 hour earlier than the front desk told us. There was a small coffee maker in the room - but only DeCaf. The coffee in the restaurant serving breakfast was a thin as I've ever seen (perhaps they were doubling the amount of water to stretch the coffee...). When I checked out, there was no management to talk to. HORRID HORRID HORRID hotel - even though its listed as a historic hotel - there's nothing special about this joint.
