“Terrific experience - highly recommended!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012 via mobile

This is a lovely and quaint Victorian home converted into a cafe. We had a surprise birthday party for my wife, and the owners were more than accommodating. This is a little gem that you should not miss. Great food and service. Highly recommended!

“Lovely place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012 via mobile

Lovely old Victorian home that has been converted into a café, and eventually will be a bed-and-breakfast. Located only a few blocks from the Dudley Hotel, they serve breakfast and lunch. We had a delicious and inexpensive lunch here, and spent time chatting with the hostess/waitress. They were even kind enough to whip up some breakfast food for one of us, even though the breakfast equipment had been shut down! Lovely people, delicious food, highly recommended!

“A Fresh Clean Café for Breakfast or Lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

We found this true gem in the middle of downtown Salamanca, and what a pleasant treat! While driving through Salamanca we were a little put off by the surrounding area, but all of a sudden you come upon an area where revitalization is alive and well.

Vittlesticks is a quaint od lVictorianan house that is being restored into café and eventually a Bed and Breakfast. On our first visit we had a party of four for lunch. While there was plenty of seating inside, we chose to sit out on the side deck. Shaded by old grand trees, we enjoyed a fresh, simple, and quite economical lunch. I had the taco salad, while others in the party had the soup of the day, sandwich of the day, and various salads. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. But we couldn't leave without trying some of their homemade desserts! I highly recommend to save room for dessert, even if you just stop in for coffee and a piece of homemade (old family recipe) Apple pie!

We went back to try breakfast, and again sat outside, and again we left very satisfied! They also have an ice cream window for those on the go!

Clean restroom, as the Café was spotless. No alcohol achohal served, and only opened for breakfast and lunch.

The service was great, and the atmousphere, very relaxing! Just by looking around you can tell a lot of time and care has been put into restoring the old home. I hope the B&B will open soon, it will be interesting to see what else they have done!
