Although nice to look at, the camping facility is a bit run-down. The campground does not have an adequate number of wash houses for the number of campsites. What is there is not in good repair. They are in need of renovation. The boat area has a miniature golf course that is in ruins. Apparently the lake has algae blooms, and the beach looked like a mud hole. We did see some deer. And at about 4:30 am in the morning, we were awakened by our neighbor who shouted a crude form of "There's a bear" over and over again. Campers didn't seem to take seriously the parks admonitions to safeguard all food and refuse. Two black bears were attracted to the coolers and empty soda and beer cans. That was exciting!
