Have lived in Westchester for over 40 years, yet for some inexplicable reason, had never been to this landmark French restaurant until this weekend. Nothing much to add to previous reviews: the food is outstanding (and pricey); the wine list extensive (and quite pricey); the ambiance is charming and elegant; the wait staff professional and friendly. But the thing that stood out for me was the fabulous bread. When we walked in for our fairly early dinner reservation we could smell the bread as it was still baking. Reminded me of trips to France. Said bread (really, rolls) is served in a huge basket, which is offered around at frequent intervals. There were 3 kinds: white (mini baguettes); sun-dried tomato; and olive. I sampled the first two, which were fabulous, but I was too full (and embarrassed!) to ask for the third :). There is also a large crock of sweet butter to accompany the rolls (no dainty little pats for this place).
A high-class establishment. Quite expensive, but certainly worth it for a special occasion.
