“A little piece of paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012 via mobile

We love the place! So peaceful , cosy and relaxing. The owner, Tab , put his heart and soul in the breakfast, and you can really feel it.
The only thing we were missing was to be able to eat those amazing breakfasts outside. the landscape and the views are astonishing.
Highly recommend to whoever wants a peaceful getaway

Enjoyed two nights at Yale Manor. My husband and I stayed in Monticello Rose, which was a comfortable, quiet and charming room with a view to the lake. Tab was a helpful and gracious host and served delicious breakfasts. The inn has a great location for touring the Finger Lakes and the grounds are pleasant if you want to just sit and relax. We especially enjoyed Yale Manor's private lake dock, just a short walk away — what a wonderful place to watch the sun set over Seneca Lake.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in the Yorktown suite on our recent stay in the NY Finger Lakes region. It was our first time there, and we absolutely loved it! We saw great reviews online, so we booked it and never looked back. Great breakfast; wonderful, quaint rooms; spacious yard; beautiful location right across from the lake; boathouse and dock was perfect for taking your coffee out or making a fire or grilling; and Tab is the perfect host! He is very nice and accommodating and will give you the best recommendations of the area. I am a neat and cleanliness freak, and I felt completely comfortable with lounging around. We felt so at home we never wanted to leave! :) Worth every penny!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Yorktown room, so I would recommend this one because it had a view of the lake. Pri...

My wife and I spent the weekend at Yale Manor to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and did know what to expect. The owner, Tab, took us for a tour of the house when we arrived and then showed us to our room. There are 2 common areas on the first floor with a flat screen in each. The library was fully stocked with books and movies. We wanted to go to Geneva for dinner and drinks that evening and Tab made an excellent recommendation. He also made reservations for us for the following evening and dropped off a printout of directions from the house to the hotel. The house is well maintained and clean. We stayed in the Brandywine room in the North wing of the house and it had a wonderful view of the lake and the gardens. The room has a queen size bed with a Temperpedic mattress...soooo comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and the dock and boathouse are a fun distraction to see a sunset over Seneca Lake. Breakfast was good both days and the conversation was lively and fun. Tab keeps the conversation light and includes everyone in the conversation. Awesome Innkeeper!! The house is off the beaten path and is centrally located to Geneva, the Seneca and Cayuga Lake wine trails, Watkins Glen and Ithaca. This was an excellent experience and highly recommend Yale Manor for anyone looking for a very nice B&B. Needless to say, we would most definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything Tab.

We found this B&B by accident, and what a Great Accident it was! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, we felt like family!! Tab helped us find the right places for lunch and dinner. The fresh ground coffee started our morning, and breakfast was worth every bite. The short walk to the dock was relaxing, as were the grounds around the house. We will be staying at Yale Manor in the future, and have already shared the booking info with family and friends!!

Room Tip: The Monticello Rose had a king sized bed with a view of the lake, and private bath. Morning sun and...

What a great find, please don't tell anyone because I want it to myself! Great location off the beaten path yet a simple drive to everything. The only this that was missing was a cocktail service on the deck overlooking the lake. Great job and all the best Tab!

I booked a night at Yale Manor for a brief stay with my mom in the finger lakes before heading up to Syracuse and Rochester for a weekend of meet and greet and bridal showers with my daughter's future in-laws. The location of this early 20th century restored manse is beautiful, the renovation very well done and the rooms well-appointed. Our host, Tab, made us a wonderful breakfast, and since we were the sole guests joined us with a cup of coffee. Needless to say we spent the morning talking before heading off to tour Rose Hill Mansion and visit Swedish Hill Winery (at his recommendation). If you are looking for a B & B a bit off the beaten path, and nice accomodations for a good price, Yale Manor is a great choice.

Room Tip: We stayed in Stuart's Gold, which has it's own bath, and a very sunny morning disposition.
