Went here on a recommendation from a friend with a group of 6. The place was quite nice. It is a bar in the front third and the balance is a restaurant. Much nicer than the traditional Mexican restaurant look. The food is good. Traditional Mexican fair mainly, but a few added choices and items like lobster quesadillas, which were decent. Desserts are very nice also. Although I cant say the food was great, it was certainly above average. The mucho nachos were very tasty and the black bean soup was simple but excellent. Price is a little higher than most Mexican places, but not too bad. Was with a tea totaling group so cant comment on the mixed drinks. One thing I thought was a downer was that the music at times was nearly deafening depending on the song. I was a little nervous when we arrived as it wasn't crowded or busy at a 6:30 pm on a Sunday, but by the time we left it was busy. Waitress was friendly.
