This is a very nice hotel in rochester that has great staff and clean rooms. When I needed dinner recomendations for my wife and myself, I was given every option and even most of their menus. Great location, convienent to many places. Holiday Inn Express's are usually great and this one lives up to expectations. The breakfast and internet are always a plus. I will stay here again when I come to see my family.

My daughter and I arrived in Rochester at 9pm, after a horrible drive on snowy roads. The young woman at the reception desk was friendly, professional, and helpful. She checked us in quickly, shared some dinner options with us, and even reviewed a map to show us the quickest route to the college we were visiting the next morning. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and filling. I would definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again.

We normally stay at the Hampton Inn in Rochester, but this time we were only staying one night, so we went with Trip Advisor's #1 rated hotel. We cannot figure out why it was rated #1. First of all, when we came into the hotel, they have a plasma TV on the wall and it was playing Porn! Actual porn! Not a good start. Then we had registered for 2 rooms through the Holiday Inn website and someone from the hotel called to confirm a week before that we had actually wanted 2 rooms and I said "yes", but when we got there, there was only 1 room reserved. Luckily, they were almost filled up, but we managed to get another one. When we got to the room, I noticed all of the pillows were down pillows, which I am highly allergic to, so after reading the sticker on the TV that said they would do anything they could to make the stay enjoyable, I called the front desk to see if the pillows were down and if so, could I please have a non-allergenic one. A basic request I thought, but apparently not. I was told by the person who answered the phone that she didn't work there (why was she answering the phone then??) and she was just training for the night and had no idea what the pillows were made of and put me on hold. She then came back and suggested I check to see if the pillow had a tag to see if it was down or not (thanks Sherlock), which I started I did, there was not a tag, but I was pretty sure it was down. She then advised me that they had no other pillows so I was out of luck. This did seem to contradict their "we'll do what ever it takes to make your experience enjoyable" sticker on the TV. So I was left without a pillow. My sister was standing at the front desk during the ordeal (and she couldn't understand who would be complaining about a pillow!) and heard that the pillows were locked in the safe (??) so they wouldn't be getting one for me. I had an obviously uncomfortable night sleep with my teeny travel pillow I brought. The next morning the breakfast was nice, but we will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Victor from now on. They have great pillows and do not play porn when the guests are walking in.

We arrived here on a rainy horrible night and couldn't have had a warmer welcome. All the staff were friendly, so even when you walked down the corridors the housekeeping staff would say hello, and some of them said hello to us when we met them in the car park and they were just on their way to work. Our room was excellent. Very large, the bed was huge! There was a large tv which we could connect our computer to to watch films, there was a fridge and coffee maker and everything you need. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was lovely, especially the gorgeous shower. When we checked out the staff were very pleasant and friendly again, and we enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
