“Small, but wonderful atmosphere.”

We take our young grandson there with every change of season. He and we love it. They do a great job.

“Poinsettia Display was breathtaking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

We visited the Poinsettia Display this year and were awed by the variety of poinsettias on display. It was a delightful treat for the eyes and soothing to the soul after a busy holiday season. (And seeing the baby quail wasn't too bad either!)

“Spring in winter weather”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

We live in Rochester and like to make to trip to Lamberton at least once a year and Easter time is spectacular because of all the color of blooming spring flowers of every variety. But that is just the big room by the entrance, Other room include orchids, ferns, and exotics; then to the tropical dome and courtyard gardens with Koi pond complete with little birds and turtles; then to the Desert environment with lovely cactus; and finally an area of wonder house plants. Anyone who enjoys plant varieties would enjoy Lamberton and their seasonal displays are wonderful. I plan to return next Christmas for that display. I enjoy photography and there are some wonderful opportunities here. A hidden gem with a very small entry fee.

“A Walk through the Conservatory”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

My sister and I visited the Lamberton Conservatory one afternoon and had a nice time. The plant and flower displays were interesting and varied, and there was signage to help us know what we were looking at. The view from the Lamberton deck out back is lovely and it looks like families spend time picnicking and enjoying the park-like setting. I learned a little while having a pleasant afternoon.

“A little bit of heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Many reviews are started with the words "hidden gem" but this really applies. It amazes me how many people in town have never visited the Lamberton. At Christmas the poinsettia display is breathtaking. At Easter, the lilies are incredible. But, in the middle of a snow storm to be able to visit a room full of succulents (cactus) many of which are in bloom is just relaxing. It makes you believe that Spring and Summer will some day come to Rochester.
