For the expense this place is just terrible. I had the "From the Pitt Combo" of ribs and chicken with sides of mashed potatoes and biscuits & gravy. The BBQ Chicken wasn’t from the “pit,” it was just plain the “pits.” It was the driest chicken I've ever tasted. In an attempt to cover how dry it was, they covered the chicken in their BBQ sauce which was marginal at best. The ribs had a horrible after taste and were as dry as chalk. The biscuits & gravy were not eatable; they had no gravy on them and were so dry they simply crumbled to nothing. They had to be at least two days old.
We also had the Mac & Cheese. In my opinion there is nothing “comfort” about Mac N Cheese with no cheese in sight. My wife had the Molten Meatloaf, also dry and bland - could have used a simple gravy or maybe just a quick burial in a shallow grave with the rest of the meal. You can find better BBQ at a vegetarian’s cook-out!!!
