Stayed one night for daughters graduation from CIA. Arrived late, staff was very accommodating and super pleasant. Room was nice and clean had all the necessities and i had a very comfortable sleep. Woke to a nice little buffet of assorted complementary pastries, bagels cereals, yogurts, coffee and teas, Set and enjoyed the view of the falls and the mallard ducks who call it home, Very well done! Would definitely return.

My stay at this place was just perfect! Nice and superclean room, with view on Wappingers creek, comfy bed, and - compared to most hotels - super-fast internet connection made my stay here very pleasant. Adding to that courteous staff - frontdesk lady Cindy is the nicest hotel personel I've met so far, she even made me hot tea after I mentioned that I have sore throat! - this is definitely now my favorite place to stay in Hudson Valley. The location is very nice, as while it's close to Poughkeepsie, it is very nature-like settings. We had bluebirds coming to the patio the other day...

We had stayed here over 10 years ago. At the time, it was a lovely property. But now, it could use a face lift - at least for the bathrooms. They're getting a bit long in the tooth, and not in keeping with today's standards.

Aside from the bathroom, the room was nice, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The heating system was quite noisy, and should probably also be updated.

We had attended a wedding that evening, and as a result, we didn't check in until after midnight. When we got to the room, it was absolutely freezing! They must have turned the heat off entirely since the room was unoccupied. It was so cold, we couldn't even take off our coats let alone use the bathroom or get ready for bed. So we had to sit and wait about 30 minutes for the room to heat up. Even then, the bathroom floor was so cold, we needed to wear shoes. C'mon - if you know guests will be there, turn on the heat!

We finally got to sleep very late, which meant we didn't wake up until late. When we did, we walked down to get breakfast. Not a morsel was to be found! I asked the attendant where the breakfast is, and I was told "Sorry, breakfast is only served until 10am." I looked down at my watch. It was 10:01. I guess he cleaned everything up and put it all away within 60 seconds.

What used to be a lovely little inn outside of Poughkeepsie is now just another motel with questionable service.

My boyfriend and i stayed here for 2 nights and could not have been happier.ask for a room w a view..the falls in the back are breathtaking. We stayed in the king deluxe which was big,clean,and very modern. Bed was extremely comfortable,several channels to choose from,microwave and mini fridge in rm also. Service was excellent and staff made you feel right at home. Great continental breakfast..even a waffle maker which was delicious! Very quiet and peaceful and close to all attractions.we definitely will be back to visit in the warmer months!!
