We recently ate at Richardson's for our anniversary. We always enjoy the atmosphere, and like getting the small private dining rooms--the "sin bins." I was a little disappointed in our latest visit.
Our server was friendly, but a little casual. Comments like "you were hungry" , and "here you go " when serving seem more appropriate for AppleBees or Dennys. The food was good overall. I had the beef tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The potato au gratin side seemed like it had been reheated , possibly from frozen. Vegetables were fresh and tender. The dessert was a huge disappointment- the apple crisp really seemed like it was a frozen dish that was heated up and it came with a tiny bit of vanilla ice cream. The dessert was brought by the assistant server and no silverware was brought with it. We will go back again as this may have been an "off" night. But for the price, the experience needs to be better than it was.
