Just walking into this mid-century diner would be enough to make the blood flow, but the perfectly restored interiors don't compete with the insanely good food. I never expected more than a country breakfast in this country town, but instead found a menus filled with fresh local ingredients prepared to perfection. I had the polenta and greens skillet with fresh baked sour dough (from Bread Alone), and a glass of fresh squeezed OJ, and was cured of my hang over and happy from the kindness and efficiency of our waitress, tour of the (hopefully) soon to open vintage bar, and overall great experience.
I love breakfast and may have to drive the 2 hours back up to the Catskills to eat at this little gem again.
