“Unique little hole in the wall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

Terrific little addition to Oneonta's eclectic fare. I highly recommend the gumbo, which is incredibly flavorful, and I felt I could get enough of it. Po boys are also a great selection; generous in proportion and tasty as well.

It has more of a takeout atmosphere to it, though you can eat within the restaurant. Staff are generally friendly; it mostly seemed as though it was family-run. If you're in the mood for Cajun while you are in the Oneonta area, then chances are this place will satisfy the craving.

“Burgers to catfish!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Nice small restaurant on Main Street. Plenty of choices - burgers (beef, gator, even kangaroo!) - all with a variety of toppings. Po' boys. Fried / blackened seafood. I had the Red Dragon burger - was properly cooked to order with a reasonable amount of heat. Satisfying meal. Look forward to going back and trying there other choices.

“Casual Cajun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

Ordered crab and shrimp gumbo, chicken and shrimp jambalaya, hushpuppies and sweet potato fries. Spices in the jambalaya were just right. Huge tasty hush puppies and the fries were the best, a wee bit spicy and sweet! Topped it off with a Boylan black cherry soda. No room for dessert. Great meal!

“Oneonta, closer to Louisiana than you think!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Stopped by after looking at all the restaurants in town, and I must say we were not disappointed! The options of exotic entrees were incredible for such a small place, and they sure know how to prepare these unique Louisiana items true creole style. Going to Oneonta this fall and I will definitely be back for the great food, helpful staff, and fun atmosphere!!!!!!

“Absolutely great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

Definitely a great place to stop in oneonta! I have tried a lot of the burgers, including the alligator burger and the crab burger, and both are fantastic! Very laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. Also, love the fried pickles!!
