The rooms are warm, inviting and clean. The motel and the grounds are very neat and it is quiet and relaxing at the motel. Many places to walk to from there and the wild life is extraordinary. I highly recommend a stay here to anyone who wants to relax and just enoy themselves.

My girl and me stayed at the Country Club Motel in Old Forge and I swear to you, we saw more deer right outside our door - I mean "right outside our door"! Where we come from that's just not a typical site so it was amazing! We got some great photos...it's like they posed for us. The room was, as another reviewer said, very very clean and the service was very friendly. Great place. I'd recommend it to anyone.

After years of staying at the motels directly in town, we got fed up with the noise, and stayed at the Country Club Motel. What a delight! Beautiful grounds, pool, golf, and immaculate rooms. This was an Adirondack vacation, not just the standard Old Forge madness. What a pleasure to enjoy everything when we wanted it, and what a pleasure to have peace in a natural setting. By far the best place to stay in Old Forge, and we have tried them all! My grown children LOVE this motel for winter activities as well. These folks know how to maintain and enhance a great place, and value their customers. Next time, or for the first time (trust me!) stay at the Country Club. The best in town!

My son and I stayed at the Country Club Motel in Old Forge, New York in the Adirondack Mountains for his 16th birthday. They have a VERY clean and VERY nice outdoor heated pool and the room was perfect because it had a refrigerator and a microwave. Since we were fishing while we were there it was great to have those things because it made late night snacks (when everything else was closed) a breeze. One of the owners, Bill, took my son (who LOVES cars) for a ride in his 1956 restored convertible and that was really going above and beyond to please a guest. The total tab was easy to live with and they are within walking distance of everything! Very nice!
