I had wanted to go to Santorini for years....so me and a friend finally made plans to go. We really wanted to stay at a nice hotel, but something that was cultural. We didn't want to travel all the way to Greece and stay at a Holiday Inn hotel (no offense) because we can do that in the United States. We went to a travel agent and did research and bought travel books, and thats when we decided we were going to stay at Aroma Suites. Aroma Suites is the reason why our trip was so amazing! The hotel itself was so nice and clean. All the rooms have amazing views; you could see the ocean, the volcano, the town...absolutely gorgeous. Its also located in the best part of town, its nice and quiet, but only a 2 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurants. I plan on recommending this hotel to every person who says they are traveling to Santorini. The hotel owner and workers are so genuinely nice and accomodating its almost unreal. This hotel is great for any kind of traveler, whether you are traveling with a friend, a spouse, family, or even solo. They also tell you the best places to go and shop, visit, and restaurants which made the stay even more relaxing :) Hands down, the best place I have ever stayed at, so thank you Aroma Suites! (Also, Aroma Suites has another place a few doors down (owned by the same person) called Nonis Apartments, which is also equally amazing so, look into both places).

My family of five, three boys aged 14, 12 and 9, stayed at the Aroma Suites for five nights in late September 2009. Amazing view, wonderful hospitality and service, great location if you are happy to be at the quieter end of Thira. We were upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite so my three boys were in heaven. The supermarket, bus stop and Karavan coffee and sweets shop were only a few minutes walk away. Fanes and Jessica are extremely pleasant and happy to cater for all your needs. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening with a bottle of wine and watch the sun setting. We enjoyed sampling the local cakes and pastries with a coffee on our balcony each day. My children rate Santorini as one of their favourite European destinations because of Aroma Suites. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Aroma Suites.

Fanes was amazing, on time to pick us up from the ferry and the service couldn't be more personal anywhere! Always attentive, recommended great places to eat, always willing to give you any information you needed and everyone is so personable. The view from your terrence is breathtaking and it is literally 1 minute walk from the town! Best location. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Santorini for the price and would stay their again for sure!

My wife and I stayed at the Aroma Suites for about a week during our honeymoon. We had stayed many different places over the course of three weeks, but the Aroma Suites easily topped them all. Fanes, the manager, was great to work with while planning our trip. He picked us up at the ferry dock when we arrived and helped us load our luggage and carry it up and down narrow stairways. We used two rooms while there and both we very clean, very well adorned, and had amazing views of the caldera. The breakfast was great every morning and Fanes surprised us several evenings with complimentary local wine which we enjoyed while watching the sunset from the rooftop terrace. We will definitely be staying here if we ever come back to Santorini.
