location/views - Make sure to arrange for transfers so you don't have to bring up/down your luggage as the flight of stairs going down to the hotel will be a mix of cement and stone so some steps are smooth and others are rather pebbly. (We didn't have a problem looking for the hotel as we arranged for transfers but there are so many hotels in the area so some might probably find it difficult.
If you have walking/fitness issues, you might find the stairs quite unpleasant but this is santorini and this is how most hotels with the caldera view are positioned.
The photos here that were shared by the others are accurate. This hotel has stunning views.
This hotel is near the area where there are other shops and restos.
room - We got a room with twin beds with a shared balcony. We were lucky that the hotel wasn't full at that time being a lean season. The beds/room clean.
bathroom - the bathroom was rather dated in terms of the design. We had an issue with the tub, since usually if it's a shower with a tub, the shower is positioned at either ends of the tub. This was not the case with our tub, the shower was positioned in the middle and everytime we took a bath, our back would hit/stick to the shower curtain! We found this detail badly-planned. The toilet was rather noisy everytime you flush it and it quite annoying at night.
breakfast - you'd have to pay extra, but since the hotel will be quite a walk going up to where the restos are for a quick breakfast, you'd settle here just for the convenience. breakfast food was boring, no greek anything (not even maybe yogurt?)
staff - mixed reviews, they were generally helpful, but didn't appreciate that the reception had office hours bcos we're used to hotels that are manned in the reception 24 hrs a day. i think the reception was only until 10pm each night.
they had some local flyers of tours, etc but what was completely annoying was they weren't updated! no effort to clearly get updated pricelists. we booked directly in the kamari travel office based on a rate from a flyer and the kamari travel person called the manager in our hotel to ask about this rate that we were insisting. it turned out that the rate in hotel keti's was a very old one maybe 3-4 years ago. =S the manager was accommodating for giving us a good half-day rate since we had a late ferry out of santorini.
bed - kinda hard, but clean though and we were all tired from the tour/walking so maybe sleep quality wasnt an issue
wifi - there was free wifi available in the balcony (kinda slow) as soon as we stepped in our rooms, we lost the connection. hard to go online at night escpecially it gets chilly (leanseason) in the balcony and there's a cat in the property that won't stop bothering us while we were out there.
i had a great time here but had some issues, but if i go back to santorini, i'll probably book another hotel in the same price-range.
