“The only place to stay in Fira, Santorini, Greece”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

Vassilis is the most amazing host we've met. And his family property is a little piece of paradise nestled amongst the most stunning views in the world. We originally booked a gorgeous suite with him and wanted to come back after business we had to attend to in Athens so he quickly & kindly took care of all of our arrangements.
The food was outstanding, a refreshing hot breakfast, original to 99% of other accommodations we've stayed at. Hearty and soo mouth-wateringly delicious. We now have to come back here, and will only stay with Vassilis when in Fira again. Thank you so much for an amazing Santorini Five Star experience!!

Room Tip: If you can afford to book a suite they are stunning however the hotel part is extremely quiet, spaci...

My wife and I stayed at the Villa Renos Hotel for 8 nights and we certainly were not disappointed. This long serving family owned and managed boutique hotel delivered the highest quality of customer service of any hotel we have stayed at in the last 20 years and there has been many including all the top brands. Their Fira location and views of the Calderra are to die for...simply breathtaking. The entire family of Petros, Zina, Vassilis, Valli and staff looked after us like we were family, providing guidance and advice at ever opportunity. Their Greek breakfasts were all a taste sensation produced from fruit and vegetables grown on their own farm WOW. Truly an amazing life changing experience and we conclude our brief story by saying a very heart felt goodbye to this remarkable passionate customer focused team. Hope to stay in touch and we are certainly guaranteed to return soon(we wish it was next week).

My husband and I stayed here in May for 6 wonderful nights. This is my second stay & my husbands first. I chose to return to Villa Renos mainly due to the magnificent Caldera views and the friendly management. Vassilis and his dad Petros make you very welcome and make it seem as though you are visiting their family home (which you are!)The other staff are also friendly and carry the heavy bags up & down the stairs! Vassilis goes out of his way to accommodate requests. The 2 newly renovated lower rooms are luxurious & roomy. The top rooms have the best views though!!!! and are my choice. I loved to sit on the balcony .have a drink....watch the ever changing view..cruise ships, boats, birds..........and the sunsets!!! Of course the home made breakfasts with a number of courses are ..prepared by Vasillis's mum from local produce...are to die for...every day they are different ...fresh and so yummy!. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. The location is very central..of course there are stairs...you can't have the view without stairs!!!!. Restaurants, bars, shops, taxi & bus stations are all close.Thank-you ..we would recommend the hotel and will return...hopefully!!!!

Room Tip: If you want luxury choose the lower rooms ..for the view choose higher up rooms.

We could not have asked for anything better staying in Santorini. Villa Renos is family run to absolute perfection. They really care about you're stay and will accommodate any request.

The location is perfect. It's right in the heart of Fira, and the bus stop is very close (3 min walking). When you arrive, you look down on a cliff full of hotels and Villa Renos is one of the easiest to find as they are on the very top!

Each room has their own private balcony, and they are huge. They have a table with chairs, along with lounges for laying out. One day we spent 6 hours just sitting with a bottle of wine and taking in the view of the Caldera.

And the best thing about all of Santorini.... The breakfast at Villa Renos. When I read reviews prior to going, I thought people just hyped it up. That is not the case. The breakfast is different every morning, consisting of multiple courses - including dessert! Everything is made fresh, much of it with fresh ingredients from their garden.

Do you self a favor and book your stay at Villa Renos!

Room Tip: They are all great. You will not receive a bad room

Having recently stayed for four nights at Villa Renos we cannot comment too highly on this hotel. Firstly it is in a great central location with easy access to all the key attractions and transport options around Santorini. Secondly it has the most wonderful views that are possibly second to none. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfasts are simply amazing and an experience worth looking forward to each day. Accommodation is very clean and comfortable with rooms generally having access to a balcony and plunge pool to cool off in the warmer weather. We had a great time staying here and would highly recommend Villa Renos as one of the best places to stay in Santorini.

Spent only 3 nights but what an experience. View from all areas of the hotel were breath taking and the breakfast experience is amazing. We are definitely going to return and would make it a regular stop on the any European holiday. Staff are excellent and make you feel extremely welcome.

Room Tip: Any room with a view

This hotel has it all. Great father & son host's. Magic rooms & views. Diet busting breakfasts, (if you ask, you can have the recipes of any of these gastronomic sensations as well!) Vasillis was an expert on everything on the island and could arrange anything you wanted to do - cars/ bikes/ yachts, nothing was too much trouble. This is the perfect base on a perfect island.
PS Ask Vasillis if he will whip up a batch of greek donuts with honey...mmm

Room Tip: Recently renovated rooms are fantastic & these would be my pick, however all rooms have breathta...
