“Lonely diners!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

We ate here one evening in October. We reserved a table . It was late in the season and we were the only diners. Nevertheless we weren't rushed or made to feel thet they were waiting to close. The meal was good , staff were very friendly and the price was reasonable for a taverna in such a good porition.

“From canadian backpackers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

We found this place to be slightly over rated, despite being very nice and had good food. The prices aren't exactly backpacker friendly and the portions were a little small. I could count how many pieces of lamb were in my "lamb in a nest".

The appetizer aubergine was really awesome but was 8€! This is the first place we went that didn't offer us a free glass of water and expected us to buy a bottle, if you ask they will give it though.

The smell of donkey may waft up to your table while eating, maybe get a table further to the back of the restaurant. Cheers!

“Awesome meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Not sure why this place wasn't more crowded. They are in a great location, although a bit off the beaten path. The owner came to our table to explain the menu and make recommendations and checked in on us often, which we found is not the status quo for restaurants in Europe. Our waiter exhibited the same great service and attention to detail. We had several courses and may not be able to remember them all but know we had bread, fava, mussels, tomato croquettes, seafood pasta, and some sort of roast...all of it was amazing. I probably left at least one dish off but the bottom line is that this place was great and really stood out from the other places we ate on the island. Will definitely go back if we visit again.

“Fabulous fish restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

The decor of this restaurant is a little too bright and the smell of donkey travelling past the door slightly put me off, however the food was absolutely fabulous and very good value for money.
Returned later in the week as the food was so good. Manager a bit obsessive though and insists on deboning fish which is totally unnecessary for most people. ( I refused!)
