“Dinning out at S&P”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

We went for dinner one night at salt and pepper after reading so many reviews on Tripadvisor. The food was good but not spectacular. The restaurant is busy so make sure you make reservation if you decide to eat there. We met a nice couple from the states here and had a good conversation during dinner which made eating at the restaurant a nice experience.

“It's just..ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant, but nothing to rave about either. It's family owned (which is always a huge plus), the food is fresh (another big plus), but that's about where it stops. Food is just alright. I've eaten tastier tomato balls and fava elsewhere on Santorini, and as a previous reviewer accurately states, they don't do meat well here. Ordered the pork souvlaki which was difficult to cut with a sharp knife. The complimentary dolmades, olive oil and bread at the beginning and icecream at the end are lovely touches. The hostess is very personable.

“Excellent Greek Cuisine !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

Was surprised at the quality and taste of the seafood served at this place. Not too expensive, in my opinion, its value for money.

Lovely food, great hostesses - very welcoming! Great food and not too expensive either with complimentary dessert!

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

Everywhere offers average food but great views in Santorini, but salt and pepper has reversed this. The view is a main road but the food is superb.
Everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait.
Also be prepared to to be served and don't be put off by being sized up and down as you walk in as if being ask 'who are you', because the warm treatment that you will get later on will make up for it, so have a bit of courage to walk in...
The tomato balls are a must. I had meet (beef) balls which were grilled and they were as authentic as they could be. Unfortunately we only went there on our last night otherwise we would have definitely return.
Excellent value as well.
